I recently updated my anti-virus software.  When I did, they provided a Handbook for Parents: Staying Safe Online and I have provided a link to it here for all you parents.  

BTW, because it was printed/distributed by the anti-virus software manufacturer Kaspersky, you'll see ads for their product in the handbook...I am not endorsing that, per se.  I like the Kasperky products, but they  are complicated at times. Also expensive.  But, after having had my computer hijacked in the past, it seemed worth the money to me to prevent another computer crisis and so far, all is good.  Also, they offer much better pricing when you renew.
